Yet another colorwork pattern that looks more complicated than it actually is. It uses elements of mosaic knitting with some interesting new techniques ( photo tutorial included). Only one color used per row.
Materials: - -3.5mm circular needles
- fingering-weight yarn. For the shawl as on the photo, you will need 600m (150 g) of each of the two colors.
Gauge: one repeat is approx. 10cm tall and 12cm. wide after blocking.
Size: Can be made any size. With 4 by 19 repeats, the prototype measures 48 X 200cm.
