Starz is a modular pattern that doesn't require seaming. All elements are knit on existing ones. You can make anything with it; a wrap, or a throw. The pattern is for the stars as shown on the photo, but there are many more possibilities for all kinds of mosaics made with just one simple diamond. You can draw your own using isometric grid.
Another advantage of this pattern is that although you can make anything huge with it, the elements you're working on are small, and because there are practically no live stitches, the project is totally portable.
Materials and gauge:
You can use any yarn, and any circular needles with sharp metal tips. With fingering-weight yarn and 2.5mm needles, one star measures 25 cm in diameter. One diamond (or petal) is 12.5 by 6 cm.
