Weekend Socks and Cowl
This top-down stranded sock pattern is available in two lengths (should fit US shoe sizes 6-11). The width is fixed, 68sts around. Toe is fully patterned, the heel is plain. I describe how to make standard short row heel in the pattern, but you can use your favorite method.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Leg height is fixed; approx. 20cm from the ribbing edge to the beginning of the heel. The foot is charted in two lengths. You see the smaller size on the photo ; stranded part measures 20cm from the heel to end of toe. The plain short row heel adds 5-6cm. Longer foot chart is 7 rounds taller.
MATERIALS
Yarn (fingering weight, 400m/100g):
You will need sock yarn in 2 contrasting colors: 70g/280g of background color and 30g(120m) of contrasting color.
Needles: 2.25mm (US size 1)
Gauge: 28 sts x 30 rows = 10cm (4") in stockinette
