Historically, this is my first sweater pattern. It's worked bottom up, everything is knitted in the round. There are just two tiny underarm seams that need to be sewn; other than that the sweater is seamless.
With recommended gauge (28 rows X 24 st), this sweater measures approx 61 cm long and 41 cm wide in the bottom, which should fit sizes small to medium - up to 92 cm chest circumference (with some positive ease). The sleeves are quite long - 45 cm, simply because that’s how I like it; the pattern explains how to make them shorter if you want. I did some waist shaping, - that’s optional.
As about yarns, the sweater can be knitted with fingering- or sport-weight. I used fingering-weight in the following amounts:
250 g of light green,
80 g of gark green,
and 20 g of each: orange, white, and blue/green.
For sport weight yarn amounts, multiply by 1.3.
Yarn weight Fingering, or sport-weight.
Gauge 24 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches in stranded colorwork and stockinette on 3.5 - 4.0mm needles
Yardage 1200 - 1400 m
