This is an old pattern from my personal collection, one of my favorites. I had had it in a handwritten form on a piece of paper for years, and decided to chart it down just recently.
I have knitted Argyle gloves maybe 20 times, all gifted away ))). There is just one pair I had a chance to photograph before gifting; it’s a miracle I could find it!

You will need 300 - 350 yards (274 - 320 m) of fingering-weight yarn and 2.0-2.5mm needles
One size fits 18-20 hand circumference.
