These stranded mittens with parrots can be worked in straight or negative colors. Optional duplicate stitch embroidery adds more details (only on birds' faces).

Materials:
40 g of fingering yarn in each MC and CC.
Circular needles size US 0-2, depending on your gauge / size needed.
Some scrap yarn or stitch holders for the thumb stitches.
Tapestry needle and yarn for optional embroidery.
Gauge and size:
36 sts x 40 rows = 4” (10 cm);
With this gauge, mitten measures 23 cm tall, 9 cm across.
