I also have Dreamcatcher for fingering-weight yarn.
This pattern mostly uses short rows. There are also some slipped stitches, decreases/increases, and occasional chain cast-ons. There is no stranding, intarsia, or modular knitting at all.
You will need non-splitty sport-weight or heavier yarn in four colors: 100 g of each main (shown dark green or brown) and the color of the “feathers” (shown yellow and aqua), and 50g of each of the other two colors.
The yarn I used for the prototype was more like sport-weight, despite being labeled fingering-weight; so please use sport-weight yarn, otherwise your shawl will be very small!
Make sure your gauge is approx 17 x 22 sts in 10cm. Most likely, you will need to use size 5 or 6 needles to get that gauge.
