I love these reptiles so much on the mitts, that I decided to make some socks to go with them.
The socks are mid-calf, with fixed leg length. The foot length in totally adjustable. The width is 68 sts around; but it can be increased by adding pinstripes on the sides of the main pattern panels.
The instructions for the socks are very basic and won’t be suitable for knitters not familiar with sock knitting. You are expected to know how to knit plain toes and heels (any method will do).
Materials:
-40-60g (160-240m) of fingering-weight yarn of each color
-2mm needles
-tapestry yarn and some yarn to embroider the eyes
Gauge: approximately 35 X 35 in 10 cm
