Double-sided, origami-textured garter wrap. Looks the same on both sides.
For the wrap as shown, you will need 300g/1200m of some fingering-weight yarn with good stitch definition (I used 4 skeins of slightly heavier pure alpaca from www.twistingfibersyarnco.com). You'll also need 3.5mm needles and 2 stitch markers.
