Colorful pattern with prominent zigzag edges. Skill set required for it: garter stitch, centered decreases and increases. There is just one row with stacked stitches, but those are decreases only.
You can use any combination of solid or gradient colors, or just use a single gradient yarn with shorter color changes (like Noro, for example). Be careful with selfstriping yarn, as it can pool unpredictably.

Materials:
  • fingering-weight yarn (600-650m)
  • 3mm needles
Gauge and size
  • can be knit any size. One repeat is 8 x 13cm.
