Multicolored rounded waves are separated by pointy solid zigzags. You can use selfstriping yarn for the waves too. In fact, you can use ANY yarn, whatever you have in your stash, no matter how little. You may use larger needles for CO edge, which must be stretchy. While this pattern falls in the lace category, the fabric is somewhat dense and not really lacy, at least with suggested yarn\/needle combination. This pattern was initially designed for a wrap, but would be great for a baby blanket. The fabric lays flat, there are no long floats anywhere, and the double edges add finished look.
